Terms & Conditions

By browsing or using Dallas County Released Inmates, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept every condition, please stop using the site.

Dallas County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no connection to Dallas County, any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither we nor our advertising partners offer consumer reports or services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We provide reference links for Dallas County and Texas custody and release resources. We are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Our Role

This is a private reference site. We do not hold official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request for you, or alter a court or agency file.

Pages point visitors toward Dallas County Sheriff sources, Dallas clerks, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, federal and immigration locators, and independent research tools. The originating office remains responsible for its records.

  • Do not seek unauthorized access to any account, server, or data.
  • Do not run bots, scrapers, or automated extraction without written permission.
  • Do not interfere with security, performance, or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We and our advertising partners do not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. You agree not to use information found here for:

  • Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions

  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other decision covered by the FCRA

Outside Websites

Links may lead to Sheriff and corrections pages, release records, public portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control those services, their privacy practices, content, accuracy, fees, or availability. Review the destination’s own terms before using it.

Provided As Is

The site and linked functions are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty about:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or currentness
  • Continuous or uninterrupted availability
  • Freedom from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses
  • The scope or quality of a partner’s search results

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the Dallas County Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dallas County Released Inmates and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other loss arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or an outside service.

Your Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold the site, its operators, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, your content, or your breach of these terms.

Content Ownership

Unless stated otherwise, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Dallas County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify them without written permission, except where law permits.

Updates to Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Changes take effect when the updated version is posted. Continued use after posting means you accept the revised terms.

Access May End

We may restrict, suspend, or end access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice, including when conduct threatens the site or violates these terms.

Texas Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
